This two day training course and workshop on Bayley III and a brief introduction to Bayley 4. The workshop will be presented by the UK Bayley trainer – Dr Betty Hutchon - Consultant and Neurodevelopmental Therapist, University College Hospital, London and Head of Paediatric Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy at the Royal Free Hospital, London. It will include video and practical demonstrations of many items from the Bayley III cognitive, language and motor scales. There will also be time for practice on some of the more complex items. Interpretation of scores will also be discussed as will appropriate use of Bayley III.
This course is suitable for Paediatric and Neonatal Consultants and trainees, Community Paediatric trainees, psychologists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Please see the draft programme below:

RCPCH CPD approval has been sought for this course
Please note as the complete test kit (which includes the manual) is needed to administer the Bayley, the manual is not provided as part of this training. Whilst it is not necessary to have a Bayley kit prior to attending this training it is advisable to have the complete kit with manual available as soon as possible after the training in order to practice administration.
