The Postgraduate Medical Centre

The Cambridge Perinatal Group is administered by The Postgraduate Medical Centre at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge. 

The Postgraduate Medical Centre provides the infrastructure and support to facilitate the education, training and continuing development of healthcare professionals at Cambridge University Hospitals Foundation Trust (CUHFT).

The PGMC has an active role in planning education and encouraging inter-professional learning and teaching across the hospital. The Centre co-ordinates education and training for doctors in training, including: The Foundation Programme, Core Medical Training Programme and GPSTR training. The PGMC provides a number of dedicated courses for a wide range of specialties at all levels, providing a wealth of opportunities for professional development at CUHFT. The Centre delivers Primary Care programmes for GPs, Practice Nurses and Dentists.

The training opportunities offered by the PGMC extend to include an international programme, which delivers high quality teaching to an international audience and allows combined expertise to enhance the education provided to professionals within the region.
