This two day workshop will introduce course participants to the Bayley III and is run by Betty Hutchon, Developmental Therapist and Honorary Lecturer, University College London. It will include an overview of the new and familiar subtests, a broad look at the changes from the Bayley Scales of Infant Development Second Edition™ (BSID 11), research design, psychometric properties and special group studies. The new Cognitive Scale, Language Scale, Motor Scale, Social-Emotional and Adaptive Behaviour Scales will be discussed.

Please note as the complete test kit (which includes the manual) is needed to administer the Bayley, the manual is not provided as part of this training. Whilst it is not necessary to have a Bayley kit prior to attending this training it is advisable to have the complete kit with manual available as soon as possible after the training in order to practice administration.
